The number of organizations that can afford an internal team or hire top consultancies to hack arbitrary targets are few and far between. In some cases, I would return after a year or more to find previously identified security issues were still present. How does that ROI math? Ticking a compliance box and kicking vulns down the road does not get you a "Decrypt Your Ransomed Data For Free" card in the future.
Security isn't 'solved'. Such farcical claims are only misinformed myopic marketing. Deep understanding, threat modeling, action, iteration, and follow-through are how you succeed.
